The Green Student Apartments

As of August 2025, we offer students the chance to stay in a brand-new apartment-style dormitory, located 5 minutes from the train station in Ikast, the main shopping area and sports facilities – and a bike ride away from school.

The apartments are fully furnished upon move-in and a shared ‘common house’ is located next door for use for study cafes, shared dinners and more. Each apartment contains three private rooms, a bathroom and a spacious kitchen/living room area. The apartment is fully furnished with laundry facilities.

In our Green Apartments, you get the luxury of your own private apartment, combined with the opportunity to meet and live with new international friends and roomies.

The apartment-style dorm is supervised by our dorm supervisors and we have weekly check-ins with pizza night and Danish ‘hygge’ for all residents.

What does a room in our residence cost?

All rooms include shared kitchen, bathroom, common area and outside balcony	Rent per month, including utilities	Deposit*

*Please note that three months' rent must be paid in advance and that a sign-up fee of dkk 5000 must be paid to secure the room. The fee is non-refundable. The sign-up fee will be deducted from your deposit payment.

Meal plan

Students in our IBG dorm and Green Houses may purchase a meal plan.

The meal plan covers lunches and dinners on Mondays to Fridays.
The cost of the meal plan is DKK 1300 per month. Students sign up for 2,5 months at a time.

Hot meals can be taken home to be heated up for dinner, or can be eaten for lunch if students prefer to eat the cold meal for dinner.

Students pre-select their weekly meal choices the week before.

Pasta al forno with chicken and bread
Salmon meatball with rye bread and carrot raw food salat

Tuesday:
Chicken meatballs with pasta and paprika sauce with raw food
Tomato soup with soup horn and bread

Wednesday:
Tortilla with beef and salad
Vegetable pie with green salad

Thursday:
Ham casserole with rice and green salad
Warm fish fillet with rye bread and grated carrot

Friday:
Crispy chicken with fried potatoes, cold béarnaise mayo and raw food
Pasta salad with tuna, eggs and bread

The student residences will be assigned according to the priority list below:

Students/ prospective students whose parents reside outside of Denmark.
Students/ prospective students who live at least 20 km from the school.
Students/ prospective students living closer than 20 km from school.
